Good Stuff
At Christmas
Each
year Marnoble Computer and friends
help provide Christmas gifts for the clients of the Houston Center for
Independent Living.
HCIL has been a customer of Marnoble
Computer for 16 years. My staff
knows first hand the great work done by HCIL. Specifically, HCIL is a
non-profit, non-residential community-based resource and advocacy center
run by and for individuals with disabilities. HCIL staff members provide
peer support and advocacy services that ultimately give others the tools
to pursue freedom from dependence.
Each year HCIL staff hosts
a Christmas Party for individuals with disabilities who utilizes their
services. We provide gifts for
approximately 500 men, women and children, spending about $5 per person
for gifts. HCIL holds a Christmas Party each year, I am told that for
many it is their only Christmas celebration.
The Marnoble staff thanks our friends and
customers who help make this happen event happen year after year.
